Take Me Home - Landscape Painting by Texas Artist Shirley Quaid
This painting was begun in a recent workshop with Fran Ellisor, an exceptional artist and teacher. I shot the reference in the hill country a couple of years ago and it has been on my to do list ever since.
The road wending through the countryside is like many that can be found all over the Texas and Oklahoma and seems to be beckoning. Perhaps home is just around the corner.
