Opening Reception at Seminole Nation Museum
My how time flies. It is almost time for my show in Oklahoma at the Seminole Nation Museum to end on April 28. The reception was a fun event with lots of old friends and acquaintances to visit with. There were some sales and three commissions for me to complete. One of my favorite guests was a six year old artist named Jacob who came with his portfolio to show me! He really is quite talented and I hope that his grandmother is able to get him in the class that I suggested.

Here is a shot of Wisey and me in front of the painting of her hands.. She was very proud and, of course, I was pleased that she liked it. Wisey is Seminole and is known in the area for her hand weaving.

There is still time before the show comes down. If you are anywhere close to Wewoka, Oklahoma please stop by to see it!
