In Daddy's Hands

Last March I attended an artist's reception for myself and three other artists at a local French restaurant. They had converted a room for private parties, wine dinners, etc. into a gallery - what a great idea! The evening was a great success from my perspective. Lots of people in attendance and lots of art sales occurred. As we were winding down the sitter brought the owner"s daughter in for a visit. Fortunately  my camera was close by because she was adorable and the owner was so loving. It really tugged at my heart - a prerequisite for a great painting in my mind.

Finally, I have painted it. It is called In Daddy's Hands and yes, it is sold.

What do you think?
